Zach McGrath - Shirati Diocese Project (AUGUST 8-24 2017)
WHY I AM PARTICIPATING IN SHIRATI INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT 2017:
I believe that opportunities to help an impoverished people on such a grand scale are as rare as they are valuable. That is why I am participating in Shirati Infrastructure project 2017. I don't know when I'll be blessed with the opportunity to make such a positive impact on people's lives again. By helping and connecting with the people in Shirati I am hoping to build on my own values, perspective, spirituality and knowledge, then share what I have learned with my home community, friends and family. The final main reason I am participating is because I am confident that I will be an asset to the team. Working with others has always been one of my strengths and I am prepared to work hard and hopefully make a lasting difference in Shirati. I am excited about participating in this unique enriching life experience and I appreciate your support.
